On Wednesday the 22nd of February 2012, Old Moat Primary School opened it’s doors to the children for the first time. The day started very smoothly. We had a few confused faces, not knowing where to go and many people getting lost but all went well. Take a look at how the children’s and teacher’s first day went.

A farewell event held at Old Moat Primary School, to remember all the memories which were held within this fantastic building. We had visitors from around the Old Moat area to embrace this event and some people to talk about their memories. The children were able to sing a song which best described the event, goodbye to the old building and hello to the new building.

A trip down memory lane, from 1929 to 2012.

As many of you have seen and are aware, the new school build has started. The started date for the new build was the first week of February, and we are on track so far.

Fingers crossed, the school will complete by some time early next year. Keep checking for up dates and to see how the school is getting on.

Old Moat is getting a brand new school, watch this space for the artists impression on the new school and new deigns.

 We are hoping that construction starts in February 2011.
